The Path to Bliss (Lamrim Teaching)

The Lamrim is a special set of instructions that includes all

the essential teachings of the Buddha. These instructions are easy to understand and practice, and can readily be applied to solving the problems of everyday life. Rinpoche will be giving this teaching every other Thursday night and everyone is welcome. There are no fees for the teachings but donations are most welcome.

Guide to a Bodhisattva's Way of Life

These teachings on the bodhisattva's deeds are based on the great Indian master Shantideva's inspirational verses on Mahayana aspiration and practice. In the whole of Tibetan Buddhism there is no single text more deeply revered nor widely practiced than this one. Everyone is welcome.

All the teachings will be translated into the Chinese and Vietnamese language. Those wishing translation services should bring their own FM radio. All the teachings are free but any amount of donation will be greatly appreciated. Everyone is welcome.

Chittamani Tara Empowerment:

Chittamani Tara is a deity of Anuttarayoga Tantra. There are many inner obstructions to our mental development that manifest as external obstacles. To be successful in bur dharma practice and to actualize the path to Enlightenment, we need to rely on a special Buddha like Green Tara. It is taught that the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas manifests in the form of Tara who helps sentient beings successfully accomplish both temporary and ultimate happiness. It is free and everyone is welcome.

This event will take place at the DharmaGates Center.

Six Yogas of Naropa:

As Naropa is a Kagyu lineage holder, these six meditative practices are strongly associated with the Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The Six Yogas of Naropa represent one of the most popular Tibetan Buddhist presentations of yogic technology. Lama Tsongkhapa's Six Yogas of Naropa is an essential component of any comprehensive study of Buddhist philosophy and has been practiced in thousands of monasteries, nunneries and hermitages across Tibet and Central Asia.

There are no commitments.

Prerequisites for the Six Yogas of Naropa

Rinpoche has stated that all the participants must have received a Highest Yoga Tantra initiation or empowerment in order to attend this teaching. If you have not received any of the Highest Yoga Tantra initiations previously, please attend the Chittamani Tara Empowerment as this will provide the prerequisites to attend the Six Yogas of Naropa teaching.
