The Four Noble Truths (Part 1)

Sunday, March 28th
10.00 am to 12.00 pm

Ven. Lobsang Dorjee Rinpoche has kindly agreed to teach on the Four Noble Truths, the first teaching given by Lord Buddha

after he attained enlightenment in Bodhgaya. The four Truths; that all sentient beings suffer, that suffering has a cause, that these causes can be understood and removed and that a path is available for those who wish to overcome suffering is both the basis of all Buddhist thought and encapsulates all of the Dharma in four succinct statements.

In order to give students a clear view of the profound teaching of the Four Noble Truths Rinpoche will give his commentary in three sessions through March and April.

Please review the schedule on our website to plan to attend these sessions.

The commentaries will be held at the Gyuto Vajrayana Center and everyone is welcome.

Guru Puja (Tsog Offering)

Wednesday, March 31st
7.00 pm to 8.00 pm

Twice monthly, based on the lunar calendar, the practice of Tsog Offering is done. It is a commitment for those practicing Tantra to restore and reaffirm their vows and pledges. Everyone is welcome to attend this ritual of making offerings to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Those participating can bring offerings such as fruit, cookies, flowers and candles.

Everyone is welcome.

Six Armed Mahakala Empowerment

Sunday, April 4th
1.00 pm to 3.00 pm

Venerable Lobsang Dorjee Rinpoche has decided to offer a Mahakala Empowerment to the local community for the benefit of all sentient beings. Mahakala is the wrathful emanation of Chenresig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion and is a powerful means of removing obstacles to one's Dharma practice. In the Gelug tradition Mahakala is the protector of the followers of the “Great Scope” of the Lam Rim path and so of all the practitioners of the Mahayana and Secret Vajrayana.

This empowerment into the King of Protectors comes from the impeccable lineage of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and His Holiness' tutors directly to Ven. Lobsang Dorjee Rinpoche.

We would greatly appreciate you registering for this event so we can plan to accommodate attendees as comfortably as possible.

Commitment: Rinpoche will give no commitments for this empowerment but suggests that recitation of the Mahakala mantra or the short or long sadhana will be very beneficial.

Everyone is welcome to attend this event
