20 October 2003 Event at Gyuto Vajrayana CenterDear Friends,This is Dhakpa Tulku Rinpoche's last teaching in San Jose in 2003 and Rinpoche has specifically chosen it to give his students the blessings and strength of White Tara while he is away. White Tara Initiation Location: Gyuto Vajrayana Center Sunday, October 26th 10.00 am - 12.00 pm White Tara is associated with practices designed to lengthen one's lifespan, increase prosperity and overcome life-threatening hindrances. The purpose of these benefits is to allow us the opportunity to study and practice the Dharma for as long as possible with as clear a mind as possible. Among Tibetans Buddhists it is a practice common to all four schools. Once we have received this Initiation we are then qualified to do a White Tara retreat in the future. There are no fees for the initiation or teachings but donations are greatly appreciated. Everyone is welcome. Ven.
