Vajrasattva Practice

The Vajrasattva practice is the most powerful purification practice in daily life. Vajrasattva is the deity that embodies the purification powers of all the Buddhas. If one practices sincerely with the correct motivation, all the negativities we have accumulated in this life and previous lives can be removed. We will be reciting and chanting the Vajrasattva mantra. Everyone is welcome to join the practice; please bring your mala. We request $30.00 donation per person for hosting the retreat. Please register by email or call: (408) 926-9430.

Consecration of Buddha Statues:

Once a year Gyuto monk's will consecrate all the new Buddha statues and filled with hundreds of holy mantras inside the statues. If anyone wish to consecrate and filled mantras inside the Buddha statues, please bring them a week before the consecration day. (Sept. 19 If the statue has no hole inside and never been consecrated before, it is still be consecrated. If you are going to bring your statue for the consecration, please make sure write down you name and phone number at the back of your statues and we'll contact you once we completed the consecration. We request small donation for each statue to cover the cost of printing the mantras and other materials.

ONGOING PROGRAMS

The Path to Bliss (Lam Rim Teaching)

The Lam Rim (graduated path to enlightenment) is a special set of instructions that includes all the essential teachings of the Buddha. These instructions are easy to understand and practice, and can readily be applied to solving the problems of one's everyday life. Rinpoche will be giving this teaching every other Thursday night and everyone is welcome. There are no fees for the teachings but donations are most welcome.

Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life

These teachings on the bodhisattva's deeds are based on the great Indian master Shantideva's inspirational verses on Mahayana aspiration and practice. In the whole of Tibetan Buddhism there is no single text more deeply revered nor widely practiced than this one. This teaching will be held every other Sunday night and everyone is welcome.

Thank you all.

Ven. Donyo, Director
