News Event at Gyuto Vajrayana Center - Updated 11 October 2005GYUTO VAJRAYANA CENTERThe Gyuto Vajrayana Center is requesting all of its members and friends to join with the millions of people around the world in sending our heartfelt condolences and prayers to all those effected by the floods in New Orleans and Texas, the earthquake in Asia and the many people whose daily life is full of suffering. This Wednesday evening the Gyuto Center is organizing a prayer meeting with our regular Guru Puja Tsog offering and will dedicate the prayers to the victims of these tragedies and those who suffer around the world. We urge everyone to make every effort in joining us at the Center for the puja and those of you who cannot come to the puja please pray at home and dedicate your prayers for those people. At least recite some mantras of Chenresig, the Buddha of Compassing. If you recite OM MANI PED ME HUNG with just one round of your mala and visualize you are reciting the mantras with millions of people and not just yourself you can make your prayers a powerful request We just imagine if we were one of the victims of these terrible tragedies; what would happen to our life and family? We are so fortunate to be alive and able to make this life of ours useful to others because we may not have the opportunity to serve others in our future lives. Guru Puja Tsog Offering Wednesday, October 12th 7 pm - 8 pm Members can bring candles, fruits and flowers for offering. The Tsog prayer will be led by Ven. Dhakpa Rinpoche and the Gyuto monks. Ven.
